Day 1: Journey from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti
Your adventure begins with a scenic 10-hour drive from Rishikesh to Pipalkoti, covering 200 kilometers through winding mountain roads. Along the way, you’ll pass lush forests, sparkling rivers, and charming villages, offering a taste of the Himalayan serenity. Pipalkoti serves as the gateway to your trek, where you’ll settle into a guesthouse, rest, and prepare for the journey ahead.
Day 2: Drive to Jumma and Trek to Ruing Village
After an early breakfast, embark on a 90-kilometer drive to Jumma, which takes about 2-3 hours. From Jumma, start your trek to the quaint Ruing Village, nestled at the edge of a dense forest. The 3-kilometer trail takes around 2 hours, providing stunning views of the surrounding valleys. At Ruing Village, settle into your campsite and enjoy the peaceful environment.
Day 3: Trek from Ruing Village to Dronagiri Village
The trek from Ruing to Dronagiri Village spans 8 kilometers and takes about 8-9 hours. The trail ascends through dense forests, crossing rivers and meadows. Dronagiri Village, perched on a hillside, offers breathtaking views of snow-clad peaks and traditional mountain homes. Spend the night here, soaking in the pristine mountain atmosphere.
Day 4: Trek from Dronagiri Village to Longatulli
Today’s trek to Longatulli is a 6-kilometer journey that takes 7-8 hours. The trail leads through rugged terrain, alpine meadows, and dense rhododendron forests. Upon reaching Longatulli, you’ll set up camp with views of towering peaks and the serene Himalayan wilderness.
Day 5: Trek from Longatulli to Bagini Base Camp
The journey to Bagini Base Camp covers 5 kilometers and takes around 6-7 hours. The trail gradually ascends through rocky landscapes and pristine meadows. Reaching the base camp, you’ll be greeted by panoramic views of majestic peaks like Changbang and Trishul. Spend the night in tents under a canopy of stars.
Day 6: Explore Bagini Glacier and Return to Base Camp
This day is dedicated to exploring the breathtaking Bagini Glacier. The round trip of 6 kilometers takes approximately 5 hours. Day 7: Trek from Base Camp to Dronagiri Village

Day 8: Trek from Dronagiri Village to Jumma via Ruing Village and Drive to Pipalkoti
On this day, trek 11 kilometers back to Jumma via Ruing Village, taking about 7 hours. After reaching Jumma, embark on a 9-kilometer drive back to Pipalkoti, which takes around 2-3 hours. At Pipalkoti, rest and enjoy your final night in the mountains.
Day 9: Drive from Pipalkoti to Rishikesh
After morning tea or coffee, begin your return journey to Rishikesh, which takes approximately 10 hours. Along the way, relive memories of the trek as you pass through scenic landscapes. You’ll arrive in Rishikesh by evening, marking the end of your Himalayan adventure.
