Day 1: Arrive at Kathmandu

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a brief orientation session about the Everest Base Camp trek. You can explore the local markets or relax at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla, Trek to Phakding

Early morning, take a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. Upon arrival in Lukla, begin trekking to Phakding (7 km, 4-5 hours). The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing through charming Sherpa villages and lush forests. Arrive at Phakding and stay overnight at a local teahouse.

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

Today’s trek leads from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (10 km, 7 hours). The trail takes you through beautiful landscapes with views of Kusum Kangaroo and other peaks. You will cross several suspension bridges and pass through Sherpa villages. Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, settle into your teahouse for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Acclimatization Day at Namche

This day is dedicated to acclimatization. Hike to the Sherpa Cultural Museum for panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Explore the local market and enjoy the Sherpa hospitality. Overnight stay in Namche Bazaar.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Trekking from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (11 km, 5-6 hours) is a rewarding experience with stunning views. Visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Everest region, before settling in for an overnight stay at a nearby teahouse.

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (12 km, 6-7 hours). The trail descends through forests and crosses the Imja Khola River, offering impressive views of Ama Dablam. Upon arrival at Dingboche, rest at your teahouse for the night.

Day 7: Dingboche (Rest Day)

Rest and acclimatization day in Dingboche. Take short hikes to gain altitude, exploring the stunning landscapes of Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. Enjoy the views and spend a peaceful night at your teahouse.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche

Today’s trek takes you from Dingboche to Lobuche (6 km, 4-5 hours). The trail passes through glacial moraines, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. Arrive at Lobuche and stay overnight at a teahouse.

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorakshep, Excursion to Everest Base Camp

Trek from Lobuche to Gorakshep (6 km, 3 hours). After a short break, head towards Everest Base Camp (17,700 ft) for an unforgettable experience. After visiting the base camp, return to Gorakshep for an overnight stay.

Day 10: Gorakshep to Kala Patthar, Pheriche

Early morning hike to Kala Patthar (5,550 m) for breathtaking views of Everest and other surrounding peaks. Descend to Pheriche (5 km, 4 hours) for the night, where you will stay at a teahouse.

Day 11: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar (17 km, 7-8 hours), retracing your steps through the same trail but taking in new sights and landscapes. Arrive in Namche Bazaar for your overnight stay at a teahouse.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (17 km, 8 hours). The trail descends through pine forests and crosses suspension bridges. Upon reaching Lukla, celebrate the completion of the trek with fellow trekkers at a local teahouse.

Day 13: Lukla to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu from Lukla, enjoying the scenic views of the mountains. Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. End of the Everest Base Camp Trek.

Refund Options:

  • 95% of the trek fee is refundable (5% deduction applies).
  • Alternatively, a 100% cash voucher (valid for one year) can be issued for any trek.

Cancellations Made Between 24 to 15 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 70% of the trek fee is refundable (30% deduction applies).
  • A 100% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • An 85% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • Transfers to a friend are allowed for the same trek on any date.

Cancellations Made Between 14 to 10 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 50% of the trek fee is refundable.
  • An 80% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 70% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may shift to another batch for the same trek within the same season (subject to availability).
  • Transfers to a friend are allowed for the same trek on any date.

Cancellations Made Less Than 9 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • No cash refund is available.
  • A 20% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 10% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may transfer your booking to a friend for the same trek and date.

Special Circumstances: Cancellation by Trek On Climbs

In rare situations where Trek On Climbs cancels a trek due to unavoidable circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters:

  • A 100% voucher will be issued for the amount paid, redeemable for any trek within one year.
  • This does not apply if a participant is required to descend due to health issues or rule violations.

Change of Trek or Batch

In cases where a trek shift becomes necessary due to unforeseen weather or logistical challenges:

  • Participants will be provided with an alternative trek.
  • Cost differences will be adjusted through vouchers valid for one year.
  • Batch changes are subject to seat availability.
