Day 1: Drive from Srinagar to Aru

Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Srinagar to Aru, covering a distance of 112 km over 4 hours. Nestled at an altitude of 7,950 feet, Aru is a charming village on the banks of the Lidder River. The drive offers captivating views of lush valleys and winding roads, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Spend the evening settling into your accommodation, preparing for the trek, and soaking in the serene surroundings of Aru.

Day 2: Trek from Aru to Araam Pathri

The trek begins as you leave Aru and ascend through dense forests, open meadows, and rocky terrain to Araam Pathri, situated at 9,700 feet. This 12 km stretch takes around 5-6 hours and offers breathtaking views of the Lidder Valley and glimpses of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. Upon reaching Araam Pathri, set up camp amidst its pristine beauty, surrounded by lush greenery and the sound of gurgling streams.

Day 3: Trek from Araam Pathri to Harnag Lake via Harnag Pass

Today’s journey takes you to Harnag Lake, perched at 12,100 feet, via the challenging Harnag Pass at 12,500 feet. This 10 km trek, lasting 6-7 hours, is a blend of steep ascents, rocky paths, and mesmerizing alpine landscapes. As you cross the pass, you’re rewarded with stunning views of distant valleys and towering peaks. Harnag Lake, with its crystal-clear waters reflecting the sky, offers a serene campsite to relax after a rewarding day.

Day 4: Trek from Harnag Lake to Harbhagwan Lake and back

Embark on a day hike to Harbhagwan Lake, located at 13,800 feet, and return to Harnag Lake by evening. Covering 8 km over 5-6 hours, the trail takes you through rugged terrains, with panoramic vistas of the surrounding mountain ranges. Harbhagwan Lake, nestled amidst towering peaks, is a sight to behold, with its turquoise waters set against a backdrop of dramatic landscapes. Return to Harnag Lake for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Trek from Harnag Lake to Dhingapani (Nafran Valley)

Descend to Nafran Valley, located at 10,500 feet, on this 8 km trek lasting approximately 4-5 hours. The trail winds through verdant meadows, dense forests, and cascading streams. As you reach Dhingapani in the heart of Nafran Valley, you’ll be greeted by serene surroundings and a tranquil campsite, perfect for an evening of relaxation and reflection.

Day 6: Trek from Dhingapani (Nafran Valley) to Bhaj Margi via Bhajmargi Pass

Today’s journey involves crossing the Bhajmargi Pass, descending to Bhaj Margi at 9,500 feet. The 10 km trek, spanning 7-8 hours, is a mix of steep climbs and gentle descents. The trail offers striking views of distant valleys, high-altitude meadows, and the dramatic landscape of the Bhajmargi Pass. Arrive at Bhaj Margi to rest and enjoy your final campsite amid nature’s grandeur.

Day 7: Trek from Bhaj Margi to Mondlan and Drive Back to Srinagar

The final leg of the trek involves an 8 km descent to Mondlan, taking 3-4 hours through forests and meadows. From Mondlan, a 4-hour drive of 104 km takes you back to Srinagar, concluding your adventure.   • 95% of the trek fee is refundable (5% deduction applies).
  • Alternatively, a 100% cash voucher (valid for one year) can be issued for any trek.
  • You can also transfer your booking to a friend for any trek and any date.

Cancellations Made Between 24 to 15 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 70% of the trek fee is refundable (30% deduction applies).
  • A 100% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • An 85% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • Transfers to a friend are allowed for the same trek on any date.

Cancellations Made Between 14 to 10 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 50% of the trek fee is refundable.
  • An 80% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 70% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may shift to another batch for the same trek within the same season (subject to availability).

Cancellations Made Less Than 9 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • No cash refund is available.
  • A 20% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 10% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may transfer your booking to a friend for the same trek and date.

Special Circumstances: Cancellation by Trek On Climbs

In rare situations where Trek On Climbs cancels a trek due to unavoidable circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters:

  • A 100% voucher will be issued for the amount paid, redeemable for any trek within one year.
  • This does not apply if a participant is required to descend due to health issues or rule violations.

Change of Trek or Batch

In cases where a trek shift becomes necessary due to unforeseen weather or logistical challenges:

  • Participants will be provided with an alternative trek.
  • Cost differences will be adjusted through vouchers valid for one year.
  • Batch changes are subject to seat availability.
