Day 1: Dehradun to Sankri

    Your adventure begins with an early morning drive from Dehradun to Sankri, a charming village surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped peaks. The 10-hour journey takes you through winding mountain roads, offering glimpses of the stunning Himalayan landscape. Upon arrival, check into a guesthouse with attached washrooms and hot water, and spend the evening acclimatizing and preparing for the trek.

Day 2: Sankri to Sikolta

  • Altitude (Sikolta): 2,850 m / 9,400 ft.
  • Trek Distance: 7 km | 5-6 hrs.
  • Gradient: Moderate.
  • Highlights: Ascending trail through dense forests, crossing a small stream.
  • Description:
    The trek begins with a moderate ascent from Sankri to Sikolta. The trail winds through dense forests of oak and pine, with occasional clearings offering stunning views of the surrounding valleys. About 3.5 hours into the trek, you’ll cross a small stream near a broken bridge, a perfect spot to rest and refill your water bottles. Reach Sikolta by evening and settle into twin-sharing tents for the night.

Day 3: Sikolta to Bhoj Gadi

  • Altitude (Bhoj Gadi): 3,390 m / 11,115 ft.
  • Trek Distance: 4.45 km | 4-5 hrs.
  • Gradient: Easy to Moderate.
  • Highlights: Gradual ascent with views of Kedarkantha, Swargarohini, and other peaks.

    Today’s trek involves a steady climb to Bhoj Gadi, a high-altitude campsite surrounded by towering peaks. The trail is relatively easy, with occasional steep sections. About an hour into the trek, you’ll cross a stream near a bridge, the last water source before reaching the campsite. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kedarkantha, Dhunda Top, and Swargarohini as you relax in your tents for the night.

Day 4: Bhoj Gadi to Pushtara via Phulara Ridge

  • Altitude (Phulara Ridge): 3,700 m / 12,150 ft.
  • Altitude (Pushtara): 2,900 m / 9,500 ft.
  • Trek Distance: 8.4 km | 6-7 hrs.
  • Gradient: Uphill climb, flat ridge walk, and descent.
  • Highlights: Traverse the stunning Phulara Ridge with panoramic views of Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, and more.
  • Description:
    This is the highlight of the trek. Start with an uphill climb to Phulara Ridge, a breathtaking trail offering 360-degree views of peaks like Bandarpoonch, Kalanag, and Swargarohini. The ridge walk is relatively flat and incredibly scenic, making it a memorable experience. After soaking in the views, descend to Pushtara, a serene campsite nestled in the mountains. Note: Carry at least 2 liters of water, as there are no water sources on this stretch.

Day 5: Pushtara to Taluka to Sankri

  • Altitude (Taluka): 2,100 m / 6,919 ft.
  • Altitude (Sankri): 1,950 m / 6,400 ft.
  • Trek Distance (Pushtara to Taluka): 8.1 km | 5-6 hrs.
  • Drive Distance (Taluka to Sankri): 5.8 km | 1 hr approx.
  • Gradient: Easy to Moderate.
  • Highlights: Descend through forests, cross a stream, and drive back to Sankri.
  • Description:
    Begin the day with a descent from Pushtara to Taluka, passing through dense forests and crossing a stream about 1.5 hours into the trek. The trail offers glimpses of local life, including broken Gujjar huts and timber logging activities. From Taluka, take a short drive back to Sankri, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable guesthouse with hot water facilities.

Day 6: Sankri to Dehradun

  • Drive Distance: 220 km | 10 hrs approx.
  • Highlights: Scenic drive back to Dehradun, carrying unforgettable memories.
  • Description:
    After breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains and begin your journey back to Dehradun. The drive retraces the same scenic route, offering one last chance to soak in the beauty of the Himalayas. Arrive in Dehradun by evening, with memories of an incredible trek that took you through lush forests, serene meadows, and the stunning Phulara Ridge.

Cancellations Made 25 Days or More Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 95% of the trek fee is refundable (5% deduction applies).
  • Alternatively, a 100% cash voucher (valid for one year) can be issued for any trek.
  • You can also transfer your booking to a friend for any trek and any date.

Cancellations Made Between 24 to 15 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 70% of the trek fee is refundable (30% deduction applies).
  • A 100% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • An 85% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • Transfers to a friend are allowed for the same trek on any date.

Cancellations Made Between 14 to 10 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • 50% of the trek fee is refundable.
  • An 80% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 70% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may shift to another batch for the same trek within the same season (subject to availability).
  • Transfers to a friend are allowed for the same trek on any date.

Cancellations Made Less Than 9 Days Before the Trek

Refund Options:

  • No cash refund is available.
  • A 20% cash voucher is available for the same trek (valid for one year).
  • A 10% cash voucher is available for any trek (valid for one year).
  • You may transfer your booking to a friend for the same trek and date.

Special Circumstances: Cancellation by Trek On Climbs

In rare situations where Trek On Climbs cancels a trek due to unavoidable circumstances such as extreme weather conditions or natural disasters:

  • A 100% voucher will be issued for the amount paid, redeemable for any trek within one year.
  • This does not apply if a participant is required to descend due to health issues or rule violations.

Change of Trek or Batch

In cases where a trek shift becomes necessary due to unforeseen weather or logistical challenges:

  • Participants will be provided with an alternative trek.
  • Cost differences will be adjusted through vouchers valid for one year.
  • Batch changes are subject to seat availability.

Additional Terms

  • Refunds are not applicable for bookings made with promotional offers, vouchers, or discount codes.
