1. Medical & Fitness Records
To operate safely above 5000m, we collect health histories, blood group data, and emergency contact details. This information is strictly encrypted, accessible solely by your Lead Guide and basecamp medical doctor, and automatically purged from our active databases 30 days after expedition completion.
2. Satellite & GPS Tracking
During remote expeditions (such as Swargarohini or Satopanth), our teams carry Garmin inReach and satellite communication beacons. Real-time location coordinates and emergency telemetry are used exclusively for dispatch safety monitoring and helicopter rescue coordination. We never sell or share telemetry data.
3. Permit & ID Sharing
Himalayan border regions and national parks require Inner Line Permits (ILP), forest checkpost registrations, and insurance verification. Your government ID (Aadhaar, Passport, or Voter ID) is shared exclusively with authorized Indian Forest Department officials, ITBP/Army checkposts, and insurance underwriters.

Expedition Photography & Media Usage
To document historical ascents and celebrate team achievements, Trekon Climbs expedition photographers and guides capture photos and video footage during treks. These images may be featured in our digital galleries, social media channels, and expedition brochures.
Opt-Out Right: If you wish to maintain absolute privacy and do not want your image or likeness published in public galleries or marketing materials, simply inform your Lead Guide or dispatch team prior to departure. We respect 100% media anonymity upon request.
Cookies & Website Telemetry
Our website utilizes minimal, non-intrusive session cookies and privacy-respecting analytics to understand high-altitude trek demand, optimize page load performance, and ensure smooth WhatsApp booking integrations. We do not use third-party tracking pixels that monetize your browsing history across external ad networks.
